Aloha All,
TNNA was last weekend and all the canvases are now arriving at your LNS. This year a few designers opted not to go to Columbus. The cost of featuring new designs at trade shows is phenomenal. While it is wonderful for the Stores they don’t always benefit the designers. I know that Maggie , Ewe & Eye , Zecca , & Ruth Schmuff were not there. But there are other designers that never go to these shows. The wonderful thing is that we live in a digital era whereby all these designers have new canvases available for viewing on their websites. It is so wonderful to be able to go to the site and see the new and old alike. I know not everyone knows all the different designers out there and of course there are new ones starting up all the time. This time there was a new company called Pepperberry Designs . For the new designers it is a great forum to show off what they are creating, but for the older companies maybe going on the road four times a year is a bit much. I certainly don’t know the answer to this, what do you all think about it? Remember you have to weigh in the cost of travel, booths, hotel etc.
Click on the designers and it will take you to their site. Just for some fun I am going to post pictures of designers who were not at the show. Up first is Ruth Schmuff with artist “Hal Mayforth”.
The next set are from Ruth Schmuff,
From artist Diane Dirks,
Artist, Eleanor Grosch,
These are all artists that Ruth Schmuff’s wholesale line represents. You LNS can order any of these in for you.
Nest up are Some of Zecca’s new designs. To see all of them please go to the website and look under new canvases.
Here are a few of Maggie’s latest designs,
I hope you enjoyed seeing a few of the designs I found from our well-known artists. Have fun checking out their websites. You may find a few oldies that you really like. Remember your LNS can bring in whatever your heart desires
Have a great weekend stitching and I will get a new needlepoint stitch charted for you shortly.
