Aloha All,
Mae decided it was time to cover her fabulous shape. She donned a dress covered in round sequins. Why, all things that sparkle are a girls best friend after all. This is my
Stitcherie
Shape Up piece for January. Who knows if the bottom portion of the dress may change a little. I guess we will find out in the upcoming months
Have any of you joined in the games? There is quite the list of stitchers thus far, you may want to come on over to check out what is happening. In case you don’t stop in, here is a shot of Mae,
Now I told you I was going to let you see one of December’s Advent winners, so here is Cheryl. She is involved in the Needlepoint Group on Facebook, lives in Strongsville which is a town due south of where I live. In the photo you will see the canvas that she is currently stitching for a client. She is what is known as a “ghost stitcher”. Ghost Stitchers stitch canvases for people who claim the created the piece. It is a wonderful service if you don’t want to complete your own project. Who knows maybe you will need Cheryl’s services one day.
I met Cheryl and Judy, another Needlepoint Group member. You may remember her stitching “Un Pocito” by the fabulous framing of her piece.
Here is Judy the talented stitcher,
Who would have known that I lived so close to these lovely ladies.
Now for the Robert Burns day Contest, the winner is, Monica Dami! Congratulations Monica, you are the proud recipient of “Sheena’s Sweet Stitches” new owl magnet!
The next contest will be held on February 14th, a sweet day, how could I not use this day for “Sweet Stitches” 😉
That’s all for now folks, stay tuned for the next update.

I’m looking at this while eating lunch at my desk. I may have just screamed a little at seeing Judy McConnell’s “Un Pocito” I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! Is there a stitch guide for it?
Catlady says
This guide came from Bestitched, but Judy did make some changes, as we all do 🙂
Maria Maunez says
Oh Miss Sheena,
I agree with Jane’s comment. Take care, Maria
