Well the Stitcherie Zecca Challenge has officially started but I do believe I am probably the only person stitching this piece. I there are any other people interested please come on by the Stitcherie and join, I promise this is a very fun and cool piece!
Well Today’s Stitch of the Week is Serendipity Variation with Beads:
Now think about using different threads, textures. As I have diagrammed it with the colors, this is easily broken into 2 or 3 different threads, plus beads. This is a lovely decorative stitch and could be used in clothing, or wherever you want to try it. I can also think of Santa’s Bag, the best way to see if it would work with your canvas is to just stitch it using a few different threads and beads, that really shows you what it would look like. I know I say this a lot, but really it is the best way to see the stitch.
Amy’s newest Home Study “Royal Pain in The Tudors” will be starting May 2013 for the first group and July for the second group. Obviously this is going to be a really popular home study, how many of you are going to be taking this one? Check out the April Newsletter for photos of this fabulous piece.
I missed the March deadline for the clue “Pearl” for my Mae West canvas, which I am stitching in “The Stitching Games 2013″. I don’t feel too bad, since I wasn’t the only one who didn’t meet the deadline 😉 This months clue is “The Seven______”, we will see how I interpret that, at the moment I have no idea!
Well folks on the kitty side all are doing well and are now heading to the backyard during the day to get a little sunshine and explore. The weather is finally warming up, I mean really we had snow in April!!!
