I have to congratulate the winners for the advent drawing on December 9th, Sunday and December 10th, Monday.
Sunday’s winner got a little extra in the package since not very many people stopped by to enter. I wanted to thank Kathy for taking time out of the busy holiday schedule to come on over to have a little holiday fun. Here is her prize,
I also popped in one of my own magnets, just for fun, woo – hoo
Yesterday’s winner is someone many of you may know from reading her blog, Pat Miller of NeedleArtNut. Currently Pat is stitching Broom Parking, she just couldn’t take it any more and had to join in the fun. I wonder how long she will hold out on our snowman mystery, Ruth is already dazzling us!
I will show you some progress on the witch hat. I did not get two areas completed. Instead I took out the witch shoe. I decided this is going to be a patchwork hat, and the shoe just did not fit. I also have a wonderful idea to break up the brim and the main hat. It is going to look just fabulous!! I will put it in next. The lines are required to follow and the other stitches will come down to the stitch, just wait. I have a picture in my head!
Next up is the Stitch of the Day:
This fun stitch could be used for Santa’s coat. It is a nice composite stitch, that with the use of different weights of thread you will add dimension. Think a number 4 or 8 Kreinik for the small cross stitches to add a little sparkle. Have fun with the stitch I can think of many uses for this one.
Have a wonderful stitchy day! Until tomorrow,
