Aloha All,
Yes, the world is full of remarkable people, just when things are getting to you, something happens to remind you again of all the great people out there. I have been fortunate to encounter wonderful people throughout the needlepoint industry, in this way we truly are blessed, needlepointers care for each other. Ask yourself who do you turn to when you need someone to listen to you, of course other than your significant other 🙂 That person need not live near you, you may only communicate by phone or email, but they are there when you need a voice to listen to you. So my friends near and far thank you for listening to me.
I did promise last week to continue with my photo’s of Baltimore’s Bedecked & Beadazzled, so here are some more for you to peruse.
Here is the class up close!
If I could be there the Saturday after Thanksgiving I would, this is such a fun piece and just look at how the face is needle felted. The only saving grace is that you can take this class long distance, hmm, food for thought 🙂
Just in case you are not having enough fun with thoughts of Classes, here is the Halloween Mystery Class, and as a tease the next Christmas Mystery Canvas. For those who are saying, “I don’t do Christmas”, well there is a special canvas without the “Santa” hats that will be available, yes, you too can be part of this Mystery Class!
I do love Ruth’s new canvases depicting the ladies, and I decided I am a”Unique, Creative, Free Spirit”, the three pictured with Zecca’s “Blue Moon Owl”.
Sandra Vargas has definitely done it again, this is the newest canvas which I absolutely love and it reminds me of “Where the Wild things Are”, great book and movie.
Now here are a couple of photo’s depicted from the book and move.
Doesn’t this bring back memories
I just couldn’t resist showing you these! If I have yet to entice you with classes, how about a new club.
Or how about a cafe scene,
Use a brick cover to make a fun top for a box.
Shoes are a must for every girl!
This is a small depiction of what the store carries. If you stop by you will see the shop has been rearranged. Anne and I set about moving pillows, display items in the club area, and the front store display. Ruth then carried on and rearranged threads and the walls. Overhauls are always fun. Thanks ladies for a fabulous visit, it is always so much fun playing in the shop.
I do have to enable especially since I am always tempted!
Since I don’t have the weekly stitch ready to roll today, I though a visit with the zoo was in order. It has been a while since you saw the kids.
Stimpy loves to sit on top of the fence and watch all the coming and goings.
My beautiful Beardie girl, always checks in on the girls to make sure they are behaving 🙂
Finally a huge thanks to my good friend Jane, she sent me a truly unexpected Halloween surprise. This is what arrived in the mail yesterday, what a delight!
The finishing is so wonderful, I will have to use this on other pieces in the future. Now I can welcome “Bob” to my fold. He is proudly displayed on my Halloween Tree. You may remember this post about Bob.
That’s it for today, see you later this week….
