Well I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and managed to get some time in to stitch. I want to thank everyone for participating in my Needlepoint Advent Fun adventure this month. The time really did fly by, I can’t believe it is over. Since I had so much fun and I know you did, I am going to do a monthly quiz on dates that have meaning to me. You will get a little history lesson out of it since I had so much positive feedback regarding my little tid bits of information that were inserted after the questions. I loved doing the research and felt it would help everyone understand the question and answers. There may or may not be a prize so go ahead and enter your name and email since you never know what may happen. Prizes won’t be as extravagant as they were during the Christmas season I did that just for the holidays. Remember I am getting my own new limited edition magnet in January which is ever so cool. The only store that will be able to sell it is Bedecked & Beadazzled. This is a fine give away prize. It is nothing like my previous magnet!!
Is anyone out there making New Year’s resolutions for 2013? I haven’t decided yet. I really don’t like the pressure of having to stick to them, and I sol like to add to my stash whenever I like. That usually rules out most type of resolutions, unless it is one to buy whatever you want Now that is my type of resolution, no pressure involved.
Santa’s elves worked very hard to make sure I received just the right present for Christmas. Also a very special friend added to my sugar skull collection of items. Thank you everyone! This is what was under the tree,
I was very lucky indeed. “I Bark” comes with a stitch guide from Brenda Hart. I am sure I am not the only one who received lovely pieces like this for Christmas. Needlepoint items really are the only things I want for Christmas. I think I need to go to Needlepointer’s Anonymous, I have a terrible addiction.
Before I go we had a lovely snow storm here in Cleveland. Here is a picture of our house with the Christmas lights before the zoo tramples over the lawn.
Fresh snow is just so beautiful. Stimpy and Noe thought so too, they were frolicking in the driveway while I was taking the photo. But they ran back in as soon as I went into the garage. They were not fond of the idea of staying outside. Lobo wouldn’t even step foot outside!
Until next time,
Until next tim
