Now that TNNA is over I am going to highlight a few canvases that I liked. I also want to thank everyone for the get well wishes. Surgery went very well so I am hoping that this is going to be my healthy year 🙂
On the Random Canvases page I have shown one of the canvases that I really liked “Ralphy” from “A Christmas Story”. Going along with “Ralphy” is the “Leg Lamp”, this version is terrific, I love the front and back side capturing the movie scene.
If these African Ladies from Lani were on 18ct I would be first in line to buy it, but 13ct canvas is just not my bag. Although this does look like it could be 18ct, hmm, will need to check into this!
I love Corinna Luyken, and this is just fun, “Snail Mail”. This canvas has all sorts of possibilities, just think how fun the skirt would be in fringed beads, short and long lengths, add a peyote bracelet, wow, it would be a blast to stitch.
This Maggie is cute, and I used to commute around Honolulu on a scooter.
This is a new Zecca which I received as a Birthday Present from my Mum. The colors in this Tikki are just fabulous. Watch out for this fun stitching piece later in the year!
I seem to be on a mission to buy most of Karen’s pieces, here is another one that I am coveting. It is not as colorful, but it is a stunning piece.
WitchesI have to say I love these Needlepoint Witches the best and later this year I am sure it will end up in my stash.
Last but not least this Sandra Gilmore is just amazing.
Oh, I cannot forget my friend Ruth Schmuff’s pieces.
Ada of Eye Candy has done it again with her new line. The mod christmas and cardinal are definitely my favorite pieces.
And we can all use a little Bling. I just look and this and drool 😉
That is my little preview of TNNA from January. There are just so many great designs that it is impossible to show them all. I am sure your LNS has their new stock flying in as we speak. For those who don’t have one I hope I brought some fun pictures to your afternoon.
I have not just been shopping the eye candy on the internet but have managed to get a little stitching in. This is the piece I took to the hospital with me, it is going to be made into a baseball sitting on a stand just like a collector would have.
I am working on this piece in my spare time after I work on my latest secret project. Stay tuned for some fun stitches.
Well that is all for today folks, hope you enjoyed everything. Will be back later in the week to bring you the weekly stitch, until then have fun stitching.
