Hopefully the rain has stopped in Texas and the sun is shining wherever you may be 🙂
Today I bring you a mini sock stitched by Diane Gasior of “Diane’s Taking Time Out To Needlepoint“. If you have not checked out her blog on Facebook you need to. Some of you may have followed her blogspot blog, but that moved almost a year ago. Diane shows you projects that she has finished, and she does finish a lot! I have a tendency to have “works in the never finished progress” pile 😆 What can I say, I love to start projects! One day soon, hopefully in the next month I will have a finished project to show!
Now back to Diane’s “Ireland” by Kathy Schenkel. My grass stitch from April 6th’s post was used and I must say it looks great. Double Parisian was used for the Pint of Guinness, French Knots with some beads sprinkled in for the froth, and the rest is a mystery, check out what Diane said on her blog post :)
Two of the stitches used,
The area around the Small Ray stitch was filled in with tent stitches. I do have to say that Diane’s stocking turned out brilliantly! If anyone else has photos of their needlepoint they would like to share, I would love to do so.
Tomorrow I am heading to Chicago, who knows I may find a needlepoint shop to check out! Probably not since I am only there for a couple of days.
No photos of the cats today, but I can show you one of the pots I made up this weekend.
Have a great week folks and I will see you next week!
