I hope everyone is doing well! It has been interesting here in Cleveland since our baseball team the Cleveland Indians have been on a winning streak, they won 22 games in a row. Unfortunately they lost last night, but they played exceedingly well and have broken records!
Last weekend was the Dallas Market and I saw a few fun new canvases that I will preview later in the post.
First up is a stitch that I imagined would work well for water or sky. Inspiration for today’s Offset Darning Variation came from Ruth Schmuff’s Offset Darning stitch found in Stitches Volume 4 & in iStitches Volume 4. I know it is a little bit of a stretch as a variation, but that stitch made me think of this 😉
Thank you Jane for stitching the sample once again! You can find Jane Wood over at Chilly Hollow Needlepoint Adventure!
The sample was stitched with Impressions and Frosty Rays. The ivory stitches on the left were stitched with one strand of Impressions and the blue stitches on the right were stitched using one strand of Frosty Rays. You do have to watch your count since every 4 rows repeat. This really is a nice background stitch.
Next is my monthly magnet which is a lovely sparkly bow. If you want a monthly magnet you can be a Magnet Maven yourself.
Grab a cup of your favorite drink and enjoy viewing a few canvases from the Dallas Market. These are canvases that I spotted on FB and from some of the designer websites, there are many more out there but until websites update I don’t see them.
As I said these are just a few of the canvases that I spotted, there are many more still to be found! I hope you enjoyed the canvas preview!😺
My Tiger crew are all well and behaving themselves today and want to say hello!
Well folks that’s it for today. Have a great day and do what you love!
