Aloha All,

Well Punxsutawney Phil has predicted that Spring is definitely in the air!! Here he is giving the good news to the Eastern USA 🙂 Can he really predict what happens in the West??

For those who did not see the prediction here is today’s clip 🙂 I know you all want to watch a rodent give a weather forecast!

Now that we have the weather for the remainder of winter here is today’s stitch.

Stitched sample of Reverse Cobblestone

I thought our groundhog could use a patch of dirt to give his weather prediction on, so here is a Reverse Cobblestone stitch! This is not a large stitch as you can see from the magnet, it has good flow and you can easily add shading for ground cover. I stitched the sample with 2 plies of Planet Earth 6 ply Silk.

This past week I have been organizing my threads. Boxes of threads have been hiding in my closet waiting to be sorted for a couple of years now. When I built my first peg board I underestimated how much space I would need, never thought I had so many threads! I now have a second peg board filled with threads! This one was purchased at Home Depot in 6 square sections, total cost $36. The additional cost comes from purchasing enough pegs to put all your threads on. I kept having to go back to Home Depot to buy more pegs since I was woefully short after my first peg purchase! I have my boards on a wall that does not get direct sunlight, so I should not have issues with fading. When I was putting my threads up I kept finding more bags of Rainbow Gallery Flair! I am sure I have every color available in multiples! When I don’t see threads I buy extra so that I have it should I ever need it! Well I may never need to buy Flair again 😀

Aloha All, I love stitching in all forms, currently I work mostly on painted canvas and embellish it will different stitches and beads.

I also love animals and currently have 4 cats, 3 that live in the house, and my 1 girl who refuses to live inside but pops inside to eat :)

When I am not stitching I may be knitting or exploring with my camera in hand.
