Aloha All,

If you haven’t been following Lisa of Mag Friends & Fob Friends , she is doing a count down of her magnets each day on her blog. It is great to see all of the magnets that she has designed, plus she is including a little history about the Season as well. So go over and check it out, yesterday she had a lovely Star of David fo Hanukkah.

Lisa just came up with my new logo magnet. It is fabulous and will be available sometime in January, soooo sweet! Of course it will be my exclusive and available only through Bedecked and Beadazzled . What can I say, a new year a new magnet, my love of magnets never ends

Todays winner is Nancy Hahn, congratulations, and I know you are going to love it!!

Nancy Hahn Winner December 8th

Since Nancy won on Hanukkah here is a hebrew celebration,

I received my present yesterday. The new Mystery class came in the mail, yee haa!! I do love those mystery classes. Ruth outdoes herself each time. This snowman is so cool, and the magnet, wow, it is so gorgeous, I was drooling over it. The “Let It Snow” snap tray is great, but the magnet, is the best yet! I can’t wait to start on it. I just need to finish the hat and my other project. Though once the hat is done, I could put stitches into the snowman. On Monday I should be able to show you 2 more areas of the Witch Hat.

Stitch of the Day:

Darning Pattern- Snow Sheena’s Stitches

This is a neat darning pattern for snow. I used white bouclé in the grey stitches and it looked like crunched snow. When stitched it looks like a Ski Hill. This could be used for rolling hills, I am sure you will think of many other uses for this darning pattern have fun with it.

Darning patterns are wonderful, you can modify them very easily and you will have another look. Do it with this one and see what pattern you come up with. Make it fit your own needs. Just look at an area of your canvas create the look that you want with a darning pattern if it fits the area. Don’t be shy go ahead and try it.

Well folks, have a great day, and take a break to stitch, until tomorrow………..

Sheena

Judy says 12 December, 2012 at 3:16 pm 12/12/12! Don’t know much about frosting. LOL Tried to buy a frozen Buche de Noel at Trader Joe’s today, but they didn’t get any in. They were scrumptious and certainly a lot easier. If you have them at your TJ’s grab one for sure! Catlady says 12 December, 2012 at 10:12 pm I Judy will definitely check our TJ’s, had thought of making one, looked at the recipe then closed the book
