Aloha All,

Facebook this weekend was full of new designs introduced at TNNA January 2017 Market. Today I am going to show you a few that caught my attention. For those of you who don’t go on Facebook enjoy viewing the new canvases!

First I have to give you today’s stitch, it is an oldie but a goodie. Many of you may not have seen it before, others of course have may not. It is what I called Ski Slope .

Ski Slope

Stitched sample of Ski Slope.

I designed and stitched this stitch as part of a challenge on Stitcherie back in 2014. The canvas is still on bars and waiting to be finished , one day I will get to it! The blue stitches in the diagram were stitched using 1 strand of Edmar Bouclé and the white stitches where stitched using 1 strand of Rainbow Gallery’s Fuzzy Stuff. Have fun with this stitch it is wonderful for snow, hills, waves, flip the diagram and I can see mountains.

Now on to the fun pictures of new canvases. This is a very small representation of what I saw online. You may want to get yourself a cup of coffee or tea while perusing the photos!

I always love what Tapestry Fair designs, they have some wonderful artists and these canvases are stunning!

Tapestry Fair – Butterfly Rhino

Tapestry Fair – Coyote

Tapestry Fair – Dear Christmas

Next up I have a couple of designs from Brenda Stofft . It would be easy to put all her new designs up since they are fantastic!

Brenda Stofft – Tuxedo Cat Pumpkin

Brenda Stofft -Steampunk Witch

August Moon by Amanda Clark (represented by Brenda Stofft)

There are many more designs so you need to stop Brenda’s website to see them.

Ruth Schmuff is always bringing us fun and interesting new designs, check out her website !

Happy Cake by Ellen Giggenbach from Ruth Schmuff

Can’t you just see this happy birdie cake being displayed for all your Birthday and Anniversary months!

Purple Dragon by Brooke Connor from Ruth Schmuff

Dragons are such fun and this one would be fabulous with lots of beads and sequins!

Tumbled by a Kimberly Designs from Ruth Schmuff

This canvas is brand new! I found it on Kimberly’s Facebook page! I love her fun color schemes!

Bird on Teal by Ellen Giggenbach from Ruth Schmuff

And finally I love this Chameleon!

Maggie & Co ., always brings us great canvases!

Maggie & Co.

I am pretty sure this is also from Maggie.

This frog puts a smile on my face and I believe it is from “ The Meredith Collection “!

Meredith Collection – Frog

JP Needlepoint never disappoints with her fun loving designs.

JP Needlepoint – Hooters “Anonymous”

JP Needlepoint

This cat holding the fishbowl with a birdhouse at the top is hilarious!

You can always count on Zecca to come up with a new twist, don’t you love the animals in the tea cups!

Goldfinch on a Tea Cup

Then of course we have another fabulous owl!

Sunset

Leigh Designs always manages to add flair to the show, I love her new Illuminations series! But then I do love Asian themed canvases.

Window of Virtue – Leigh Designs Illuminations

Portal to Immortality – Leigh Designs Illuminations

Portal to Immortality was stitched by Jane Wood of Chilly Hollow Needlepoint Adventure , don’t you love all the details!

Sentinel of Wisdom – Leigh Designs Illuminations

This Dragon Illumination stitched by Carolyn Taggart is stunning!

Gateway to Paradise- Leigh Designs Illuminations

This wonderful Illumination was stitched by Sandra Arthur.

In this series it is a toss up between the Window of Virtue and the Sentinel of Wisdom, I love them both, but the dragon has the edge since I love Dragons! Every one of the stitched canvases has a stitch guide available to purchase with the canvas. To see the rest of the series go to Leigh Designs .

Patti Mann came up with a ray of sunshine….

Patti Mann – Make your own Sunshine

Associated Talents always manages to design great ornaments.

Associated Talents – Snowmen

Here is a fun Easter egg that I bet you could complete in time for this years Easter display!

Fleur de Paris has some really talented designers and here are a few of the artists they represent.

Sandra Gilmore – For The Birds

Machelle Somerville’s – Various Vases

I just liked the geometric design of these vases.

I couldn’t leave out Labors of Love , I love “Cleo”, even though she is a rather large design!

Labors of Love – Cleo’s Mummy

This is a fairly new designer to me, HSN Designs , but I love these Cardinals!

HSN Designs from Hingham Square Needlepoint – Cardinals

Melissa Prince designed a lovely 12 Days of Christmas wreath, just is case you need another one! She has also updated her website so you can see all the new designs here .

12 Days of Christmas Wreath by Melissa Prince

Lastly we have another Cacti from Purple Palm Designs . They have also updated their website with the new designs from market.

Purple Palm Designs – Cactus Blossom

The colors in this design are fabulous!

For more Designer updates check out their websites. I know many of you like Melissa Shirley designs and her site is updated, so you can see her newest designs here . Another favorite designer that many of you like is Raymond Crawford and his site has also been updated .

I know I don’t have all the designers represented, there are so many out there, these are just a few that I found. Have fun perusing the web yourself and let me know what you come up with!

In my world I have put my Santa Fe Felines mystery class on bars and have taken a photo of the middle cat so that I don’t misplace any whiskers!

Santa Fe Felines by Laurel Burch

Here is my middle cat, ready to start being stitched on.

This is going to be a fun Mystery Class with a Twist from Ruth Schmuff!! This is just my speed since I can’t stitch very much yet.

I do have another Home Study that I could not resist from Amy Bunger which is also on stretcher bars, Melissa Shirley’s “4th of July”! Too much to do with so little time!! This is one class I most likely won’t be able to keep up with, but I will learn techniques along the way!

In the kitty news, Stimpy is sitting on her perch beside me while I was working at my desk this week. She just loves to look out the window!

Stimpy turned to see me before she returned to looking outside.

That’s all my news for this week. Have a great stitchy week and put a few stitches in for me!
